AICORN is a multidisciplinary research group dedicated to advancing our understanding of healthcare delivery and identifying opportunities to improve the quality and outcomes of care. Our projects involve large, population-based and clinical database analyses focused on clinical epidemiology and health services research in acute and intensive care. Our research examines patterns of care and generates evidence to inform clinical practice, health policy, and health system decision-making. AICORN is based in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

We are a collaborative group of health services researchers based at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Sunnybrook Research Institute, the University of Toronto, Weill Cornell Medicine – Cornell University, and the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES), with collaborators and research partners around the world.
